Do you love wedding details? Good, so do I! In fact, the small details of weddings are my favorite things to capture. The Updikes had lots of details that were to die for! They chose a stunning location for their reception. It was inside a greenhouse at Shade Home and Garden in Utah.
There was lots of natural wood and large windows to let in tons of natural light. They had plants everywhere which made you feel as though you were outdoors without having to deal with the heat. They also had a good amount of artificial lighting for when the sun went down. If you want to elevate your wedding photos, find a location that has good lighting! If you're not sure if it has good lighting or not, I'd love to help!
The colors were a dark green and everything was kept very simple. She had a white bouquet with greenery. There was greenery with lights on the tables. There was nothing super over the top, but the wedding was gorgeous. They filled the room with photos of the couple. Earlier that morning they were sealed at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. I was able to edit and print a couple of their images during the afternoon so they could have them at their reception that night.
This bride was from Mozambique and tied in somethings from her culture. The flowers were more tropical. The bride and bridesmaids changed into clothing from the Mozambique culture to perform a dance for the groom. What a beautiful way to start a new life together.
